Measuring guide
Drawers
Measure interior width, depth, and usable height. Choose organizers at least 0.25–0.5 in smaller than interior width/depth so they slide freely.
Under-bed storage
Measure clearance from floor to bed frame. Confirm bin height is lower than that clearance, then check length/width against the open side of the bed.
Closet systems
Measure shelf depth, rod height, and available wall/floor width. Leave room for hangers and doors to clear.
Garage & utility
Confirm wall stud locations for wall-mounted racks. For freestanding shelves, measure floor footprint and ceiling height before ordering taller units.
